On Day 5 of my Florida trip, I visited Palm Beach and Delray Beach. Surprisingly, they were not ghost towns. For the season, though, they were very empty. I’ve never been to Palm Beach before, but I absolutely adored it. The town reminded me of a fusion between L.A. and Nantucket. There are small quiet streets that could easily be the suburbs of L.A. and there is an upscale shopping street that is home to preppy brands that reminds me of Nantucket with a flair of spanish architecture. The beaches, architecture, and landscaping were all exquisite. We only drove around because businesses were not open, but it is definitely a place that I would love to visit again.
