Hi! I'm Ana DeMakes. I am a concert photographer from Connecticut and a Junior in High School. This school year, I decided that to create my own photography course in the form of an independent study. I am passionate about both music and photography, but concert photography does not fit into my everyday life easily because of school and extracurriculars. Having a designated block of time to work on my concert photography portfolio sounded awesome, so I decided to create this class.

Along with building my portfolio, my goal with my independent study is to put on my own gallery show, write this blog, and get out to shoot more shows. I hope whoever reads this sticks along with my upcoming blog posts, as I will be sharing my experiences with shooting shows, my experience with my photography class, and posting photo essays from my personal life.
